Lincoln is a perfect 6-0 against Hoover since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Railsplitters will be playing in front of their home fans against the Huskies at 6:00 p.m. Lincoln will be strutting in after a victory while Hoover will be coming in after a loss.

Lincoln barely beat Des Moines East the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Railsplitters blew past the Scarlets 6-1 on Tuesday. Lincoln have beaten Des Moines East the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest Des Moines East has come to flipping the script.

Meanwhile, Hoover came up short against Roosevelt on Tuesday, falling 10-3. The defeat continues a trend for Hoover in their meetings with Roosevelt: they've now lost five in a row.

Lincoln's win bumped their record up to 3-7-1. As for Hoover, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5-1.

Everything went Lincoln's way against Hoover in their previous matchup back in April of 2019, as Lincoln made off with a 4-0 victory. Will the Railsplitters repeat their success, or do the Huskies have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
