Baseball Recap: Lutheran Takes a Loss

If Lutheran was feeling good fresh off their 9-2 takedown of Edinburg on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Crusaders came up short against the St. Teresa Bulldogs on Friday, falling 22-6.

Lutheran has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season. As for St. Teresa, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-11.

Coming up, Lutheran will be playing at home against Pawnee at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Teresa, they will venture away from home to challenge Cornerstone Christian at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Bulldogs are facing the Cyclones at the right time seeing as the Cyclones are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
