Basketball Game Preview: Kenmore East Bulldogs vs. North Tonawanda Lumberjacks

The Kenmore East Bulldogs will square off against the North Tonawanda Lumberjacks at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

Kenmore East's offense will try to repeat the strong performance it gave on Friday, when they got past Buffalo Academy of Science's usually-dominant defense. Kenmore East blew past Buffalo Academy of Science 57-30.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for North Tonawanda, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They breezed by Niagara Falls to the tune of 55-25 on Tuesday. The Lumberjacks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 26 points or more this season.

North Tonawanda pushed their record up to 12-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 37.7 points. As for Kenmore East, their win ended a three-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-1.

Kenmore East was taken down by North Tonawanda 78-9 in their previous matchup back in January of 2023. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Kenmore East was down 44-2.
