Football Recap: South Allegheny Starts off Right with Win over Ringgold + How To Watch

South Allegheny gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They came out on top against the Ringgold Rams by a score of 33-21. The Gladiators have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rams, too.

South Allegheny's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Joey Gamret, who rushed for 129 yards and one score. Those 129 rushing yards gave Gamret a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Hakim Harrell, who rushed for 89 yards and one TD on only eight carries.

South Allegheny didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Kymair Brown and Chance Cole.

South Allegheny wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 49-6 victory against Brentwood on the 29th. As for Ringgold, they have also already played their next game, a 61-14 win against Indiana on the 29th.
