Softball Game Preview: Glenbrook North Spartans vs. Glenbrook South Titans

The Glenbrook North Spartans will take on the Glenbrook South Titans at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. Glenbrook North will be strutting in after a win while Glenbrook South will be coming in after a loss.

Glenbrook North took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 9-3 margin over Evanston. Considering the Spartans have won eight contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Glenbrook South took on Highland Park in a Mythical Matchup on Tuesday. The Titans fell just short of the Giants by a score of 3-2. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Glenbrook South saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sophia Buckingham, who went 2-for-3 with two runs.

With the victory, Glenbrook North broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 13-12. As for Glenbrook South, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-20.
