Basketball Recap: Lawrence Takes a Loss

Lawrence lost against Phoenix back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Lawrence Tigers were beaten by the Phoenix Falcons 71-30. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 676th in Michigan, while the Falcons are ranked 267th in Michigan).

Lawrence has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games. That lines up perfectly with their 5-20 record this season. Phoenix's record now sits at 16-4.

Lawrence does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Phoenix, they are taking a road trip to face off against Marcellus at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Marcellus will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Phoenix surely won't give up without a fight.
