Glenn has gone a perfect 7-0 against Mount Tabor recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Bobcats will square off against the Spartans at 6:00 p.m. Glenn is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.
Glenn will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on Monday, then bounced right back against R.J. Reynolds on Tuesday. The Bobcats put the hurt on the Demons with a sharp 16-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Bobcats, who have now won nine games by six runs or more so far this season.
Addyson Irving and Kendall Fraas made a big impact no matter where they played. On the mound, Irving pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Fraas tossed 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two hits in seven consecutive appearances. At the plate, Irving scored two runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances, while Fraas went 1-for-2 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base. Those four RBI gave Fraas a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Erin Murnane, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Kadence Lamonte was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI.
Glenn always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .800. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Mount Tabor lost 17-4 to East Forsyth on Wednesday. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Jenna Catania made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Mia Tarpley-Quintanilla, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
Mount Tabor's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Glenn, they now have a winning record of 10-9.
Mount Tabor's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Thursday. Glenn has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.7 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Mount Tabor, though, as they've been averaging only 3.7 strikeouts. Will Glenn keep running through batters, or will the Spartans buck the trend?
Glenn beat Mount Tabor 5-0 in their previous matchup back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bobcats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
