Softball Recap: Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Falls to Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg in First Game of Season

Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg on Monday, falling 10-0. The Bobcats haven't had much luck with Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

The victory was the third in a row for Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Bobcats face off against Pana Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg, they will face off against Arcola at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
