Basketball Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

Jefferson lost against Los Angeles back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Jefferson Democrats were outmatched by the Los Angeles Romans and fell 73-30.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Los Angeles, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jefferson will take on West Adams at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Considering West Adams has lost four straight at home and Jefferson ten straight on the road (dating back to last season), this one might come down to who's more desperate to change their momentum. As for Los Angeles, they will face off against Manual Arts at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Manual Arts is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.7 points per game this season.
