Silver Lake won against Riley County last Tuesday with 16 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over the Royal Valley Panthers. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won seven contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

The victory was the third in a row for Silver Lake, bringing their record up to 13-6. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Royal Valley, their loss was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-16.

Looking ahead, Royal Valley will venture away from home to challenge Sabetha on Monday. Silver Lake will be paying especially close attention to the Panthers' match: after the Panthers face off against St. Marys, they'll take on Silver Lake again on Monday.
