Walkersville (12-6, 9-3) is red-hot, having won six straight games, the longest such streak in Monocacy Valley - Piedmont. The streak was extended by another 3 games over the past week, includinga 6-4 victory over Governor Thomas Johnson. Alex Rodriguez led the lineup this week with one hits and zero RBIs.

After a week in which it went 2-2, Governor Thomas Johnson jumped from 61 to 47 in the national rankings, the biggest increase in the league.

Even after stealing 13 bases to lead the league over the past week, Frederick is still looking up at Urbana, which ranks No. 1 in steals, with 55 on the year. Jerel English leads the Cadets with nine swipes so far this season.

Linganore's pitchers have displayed incredible control over the past week and all season, giving up just five walks over the past seven days and 28 on the year. Both are No. 1 in the league.
