Softball Recap: Gardner's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Gardner came into Wednesday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Algonquin Regional Titans by a score of 9-4 on Wednesday. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 5-2 win the Titans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Gardner's record is now 6-4. As for Algonquin Regional, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Looking ahead, Gardner is taking a road trip to square off against Murdock at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Algonquin Regional, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Grafton at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
