Softball Recap: Cathedral Comes Up Short

Cathedral was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 27-17 to Mt. St. Ursula Academy. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against Mt. St. Ursula Academy this season, with their most recent defeat being a 22-12 loss back in April.

Cathedral's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Mt. St. Ursula Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6.

Cathedral does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mt. St. Ursula Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 21-5 loss against Sacred Heart on the 13th.
