Baseball Recap: Hoggard Takes a Loss

Hoggard lost against New Hanover back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Vikings took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats.

Hoggard saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Parker Gosselink, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI and one double.

Hoggard's defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-17. As for New Hanover, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-9.

As of now, neither Hoggard nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
