Baseball Game Preview: Lake Quinault Elks vs. North Beach Hyaks

The Lake Quinault Elks will face off against the North Beach Hyaks at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Lake Quinault has three straight victories, North Beach has seven straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Lake Quinault is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 26-6 margin over Wishkah Valley on Monday. The Elks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by ten runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for North Beach's offense. They came up short against Raymond/South Bend on Monday, falling 11-0.

Lake Quinault pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 20.0 runs over those games. As for North Beach, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-13.
