Soccer Recap: Callaway Wins Going Away Against Lithonia

Callaway won the last time they faced Lithonia and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Cavaliers put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 9-1 victory. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 6-0.

The win made it two in a row for Callaway and bumps their season record up to 12-5. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those two contests. As for Lithonia, they dropped their record down to 2-12 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Callaway will venture away from home to square off against Luella at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Callaway's defense better be ready for this one: Luella have averaged an impressive 5.5 goals per game this season. As for Lithonia, they will square off against Therrell at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
