Basketball Recap: Doniphan-Trumbull Cardinals vs. Gibbon Buffaloes
Doniphan-Trumbull's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They blew past the Gibbon Buffaloes 56-36. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 56-40 back in January.
Doniphan-Trumbull was led to victory by Logan Rainforth and Charlee Richter. Rainforth almost dropped a double-double on 23 points and nine rebounds, while Richter dropped a double-double on 17 points and 15 boards. Doniphan-Trumbull was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in February of 2024.

Meanwhile, Gibbon (ranked 262nd) will meet Southern Valley (ranked 47th) at 6:00 p.m. on February 11th.
