Basketball Recap: Canute Finds Playoff Glory Versus Cheyenne/Reydon

Canute extended their postseason success on Saturday against Cheyenne/Reydon. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Cheyenne/Reydon Bears 29-27. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Bears recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Cheyenne/Reydon's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kimbo Denney, who posted eight points and eight boards. Kinley Goad was another key player, putting up six points.

Canute's win bumped their record up to 22-3. As for Cheyenne/Reydon, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-10.

Coming up, Canute will challenge Seiling at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Seiling will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Canute surely won't give up without a fight. Cheyenne/Reydon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
