Volleyball Game Preview: Gulliver Prep Raiders vs. Monsignor Pace Spartans

The Gulliver Prep Raiders will challenge the Monsignor Pace Spartans at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a five-game winning streak alive.

Gulliver Prep is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They blew past NSU University 3-0.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Gulliver Prep was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-9, 25-11.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Tuesday Monsignor Pace sidestepped Coral Springs Charter for a 3-2 win.

Monsignor Pace took Coral Springs Charter into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. The final score came out to 25-16, 27-25, 14-25, 23-25, 15-11.

Gulliver Prep's victory bumped their record up to 20-7. As for Monsignor Pace, their win bumped their record up to 14-10.

Everything went Gulliver Prep's way against Monsignor Pace in their previous meeting back in September of 2019, as Gulliver Prep made off with a 3-0 victory. Do the Raiders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Spartans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
