Soccer Game Preview: Orchard Farm vs. Quincy Notre Dame

The Orchard Farm Eagles will venture away from home to face off against the Quincy Notre Dame Raiders at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Orchard Farm will come into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.

Orchard Farm's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Collinsville. Given Orchard Farm's advantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked ninth in Missouri, while Collinsville are ranked 141st in Illinois) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Quincy Notre Dame's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Peoria Notre Dame on Friday.

Orchard Farm pushed their record up to 9-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those five matchups. As for Quincy Notre Dame, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4-1.

Orchard Farm beat Quincy Notre Dame 2-0 when the teams last played back in March of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
