Baseball Recap: Wellpinit Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Wellpinit's offense. They lost 20-0 to the Almira-Coulee-Hartline Warriors on Tuesday. The Redskins have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Wellpinit's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Almira-Coulee-Hartline, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Wellpinit will face off against Mary Walker at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Chargers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.5 runs per game on average), something the Redskins will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Almira-Coulee-Hartline, they will take on Okanogan at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
