Volleyball Recap: Eden Christian Academy Comes Up Short

If Eden Christian Academy was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Western Beaver on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Eden Christian Academy fell just short of the Moon Area Tigers by a score of 3-2 on Monday.

Eden Christian Academy wouldn't go down easily and took Moon Area into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-20, 25-19, 21-25, 15-13.

Despite the defeat, Eden Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Bella Yurkovac had 13 digs and three assists. Those 13 digs set a new season-high mark for Yurkovac.
