Volleyball Recap: Dora Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Sumiton Christian on Tuesday, Dora came back down to earth. The Bulldogs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cordova Blue Devils on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-1 defeat last Tuesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-12.

Cordova got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Lexee King out in front who had 22 assists and five digs. King has been hot, having posted 14 or more assists the last eight times she's played. Another player making a difference was Chloe Kacharos, who had seven digs and five kills.

Dora dropped their record down to 12-12 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Cordova, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 22-15.

Dora has already played their next matchup (against Curry), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Cordova, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Oakman on the 2nd.
