Collierville faced Houston in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Dragons took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs. The Dragons' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-13, 22-25, 25-19.

Collierville's loss dropped their record down to 24-11-1. As for Houston, their win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 25-13.
