Six Rivers recap October 22, 2013
Black Hawk added to the longest winning streak in Six Rivers this week by beating Highland, 48-12. This was the team's ninth consecutive win.
Shullsburg and Seneca played the most contested game in the league this week, with Shullsburg eventually emerging with a 2-0 victory.
The Cardinals' dynamic duo of Blake Bomkamp and Alex Kutzke proved tough for Black Hawk to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Bomkamp threw for 161 yards and 2 touchdowns and Kutzke had 140 yards receiving.
On the heels of Heath Butler and Tanner Sweeney, Cory Milz's team has had great success on offense. Butler leads the league in passing with 914 yards, while Sweeney has rushed for 1,036 yards this season. Potosi's Chase Kruser leads the league in receiving yards with 449 on 19 catches.
At the moment, the Chieftains are in second, while Cassville is in fourth.
Highland fell to the Warriors 48-12 last week, the largest margin of any game. Bomkamp in the loss.
