Gallatin County waltzed into their matchup on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Eldorado Eagles. While the Hawks didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-12), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Gallatin County took both sets by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-5.

Gallatin County's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Eldorado, they are on a 38-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.

Looking ahead, Gallatin County will square off against Thompsonville at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eldorado, they will take on Carmi-White County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
