Football Recap: La Veta Takes a Loss

La Veta played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Primero Bulldogs and fell 44-8. The Redhawks haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

David Roel threw for 114 yards on seven of 19 attempts. Kendall Ingram was his top target, picking up 63 receiving yards. On the ground, Weston Huff rushed for 51 yards.

Ralsten LePlatt went supernova For Primero., rushing for 190 yards and three scores on only 14 carries. Those 190 rushing yards gave LePlatt a new career-high. Gabe Sintas was in the mix too, providing Primero with two TDs.

La Veta now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Primero, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
