Soccer Recap: New Hampstead Comes Up Short

New Hampstead was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Woodville-Tompkins Wolverines. If the Phoenix were looking for revenge after losing 1-0 to them when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

New Hampstead's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Woodville-Tompkins, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Hampstead will challenge Perry at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Woodville-Tompkins, they will square off against Long County at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
