Softball Recap: Monrovia Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Monrovia, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They walked away with a 17-13 win over the San Marino Titans on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Titans: they've now won nine in a row.

The team relied heavily on Mackenzie Delgado, who went 3-for-4 with four runs and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March of 2024. Madison Cardona was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs and one double.

Monrovia always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .591. They are 3-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
