Volleyball Game Preview: Cherokee Christian Warriors vs. Johnson Ferry Christian Academy Saints

For the first time this season, Cherokee Christian will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will face off against the Johnson Ferry Christian Academy Saints at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Cherokee Christian is leaving town to face Johnson Ferry Christian Academy after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. The Warriors came up short against Pinecrest Academy on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Paladins recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-4, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Johnson Ferry Christian Academy came up short against Pebblebrook on Thursday and fell 2-0.

Cherokee Christian couldn't quite get it done against Johnson Ferry Christian Academy when the teams last played back in September of 2023 as they fell 3-1. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
