Basketball Recap: Hampton Snaps Nine-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Hampton came into Friday's game having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They enjoyed a cozy 58-39 victory over the Gurdon Go-Devils on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 51-40 back in December of 2024.

Hampton's win ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 13-13. As for Gurdon, they are on a 20-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-20.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Magnet Cove the next time they take the court. Hampton will head out to face Magnet Cove at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, while Gurdon will head out to face them on Tuesday.
