Soccer Recap: Riverside Gets the Win

Riverside barely beat Greater Nanticoke Area the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Vikings never let the Trojans get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory on Saturday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Riverside considering their one-goal performance the matchup before.

Riverside now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Greater Nanticoke Area, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Riverside will host Carbondale Area at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give Riverside their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Greater Nanticoke Area, they will welcome MMI Preparatory School at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
