Softball Recap: Berry Comes Up Short

After flying high against Ashbrook on Wednesday, Berry came back down to earth. The Berry Cardinals came up short against the Ballantyne Ridge Wolves on Thursday, falling 16-6.

Berry has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. Ballantyne Ridge's record now sits at 3-6.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Berry Cardinals challenge Chambers Cougars at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Berry will need to watch out since Chambers has now posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season. As for Ballantyne Ridge, they will take on Palisades at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
