Basketball Recap: Veritas Academy Piles Up the Points Against Concordia

Veritas Academy's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They breezed by the Concordia Cardinals to the tune of 58-22. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 64-21 on January 7th.

Veritas Academy is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-12 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29 points. As for Concordia, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Veritas Academy will face off against Vanguard College Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Concordia, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Texas School for the Deaf at 7:30 p.m. Concordia is facing Texas School for the Deaf at the right time seeing as Texas School for the Deaf is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
