Baseball Game Preview: Westmont Warriors vs. Menlo School Knights

The Westmont Warriors will face off against the Menlo School Knights at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Menlo School took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Westmont, who comes in off a win.

Westmont made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Homestead, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Everything went Westmont's way against Homestead on Tuesday as Westmont made off with a 9-3 win.

The team relied heavily on Brayden Casillas, who scored two runs and stole Three bases. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton Hines, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, Menlo School came up short against Aptos on Saturday and fell 6-1. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kc Chavinson was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-2. Liam Widner also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Menlo School's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Westmont, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-4-1.
