Volleyball Recap: Marissa Ramos' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Charlotte over Sabinal + How To Watch

Charlotte was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sabinal Yellowjackets. The Trojans were not able to make up for their loss to the Yellowjackets from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-23, 21-25, 25-15.

Charlotte's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Marissa Ramos, who had seven digs and three aces. Kiany Tubito was another key player, getting six aces.

Charlotte's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Sabinal, their victory ended a five-match drought at home and bumped them up to 5-8.

Coincidentally, Charlotte and Sabinal will both be playing Stacey the next time they take the court. The Yellowjackets will host the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Trojans will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
