Basketball Recap: Lehman Takes a Loss

Lehman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 41-34 to the Lockhart Lions. The Lobos were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lions earlier this season, when they won 45-28.

Despite the loss, Lehman still got an impressive performance from Lilly Coronado, who almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine boards. Another player making a difference was Lucy Polanco, who posted 11 points.

Even though they lost, Lehman was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in November of 2023.

Lehman's loss dropped their record down to 8-18. As for Lockhart, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 7-17 record.

Lehman wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 67-21 defeat against Cedar Park on the 17th. Lockhart has also already played their next contest, a 68-34 loss against Glenn on the 17th.
