Football Recap: Heavener Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Heavener unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Central Tigers by a score of 27-24 on Friday. The Wolves were up 14-0 in the first quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Looking ahead, Heavener is headed away from home for the first time to square off against Panama at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Central, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Warner at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
