Baseball Recap: Webb Comes Up Short

Webb was the 8-0 winner over Rio Hondo Prep when they last played one another back in May of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Gauls lost 10-1 to the Kares on Thursday. The Gauls have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alec Kaushal made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases and one run.

Webb's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Rio Hondo Prep, the victory got them back to even at 4-4-1.

Webb will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Western Christian at 3:15 p.m. on April 15. As for Rio Hondo Prep, they will square off against Duarte at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
