Softball Recap: Afton's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

After flying high against Walton on Monday, Afton came back down to earth. The Knights lost 15-6 to the Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Knights in their meetings with the Bobcats: they've now lost six in a row.

Having lost for the first time this season, Afton fell to 4-1. As for Bainbridge-Guilford, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Afton will host Greene at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bainbridge-Guilford, they will square off against Oneonta at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
