Volleyball Recap: Mattoon Gets the Win

Mattoon's tournament run continued when they took on Triopia/Virginia on Saturday. The Greenwave won by a set and slipped past the Trojans 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Greenwave.

Mattoon's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Triopia/Virginia, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-4 record this season.

Mattoon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Routt Catholic on the 13th. As for Triopia/Virginia, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against PORTA on the 13th.
