Softball Recap: Serrano Comes Up Short

Serrano lost against Sultana back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Diamondbacks lost 15-5 to the Sultans. The Diamondbacks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jamie Motley made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Cody Ramirez was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Serrano now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Sultana, their victory bumped their record up to 12-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Serrano is set to square off against their familiar foe Oak Hills at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Sultana will challenge rival Hesperia at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
