It was a Battle of the Birds when Atwater took on Central Valley on Tuesday. The Atwater Falcons were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Central Valley Hawks. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-15, 25-21.

Atwater's offense was headlined by Ernesto Castillo-Quevedo and Santiago Garibay, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Isaac Avila Elizalde and his 25 assists. Jonathan Quinn controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Atwater now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Central Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.

Atwater wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Delhi on the 13th. As for Central Valley, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Lathrop on the 14th.
