Soccer Recap: Seventy-First Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Seventy-First had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 10-1 to the Purnell Swett Rams on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Seventy-First of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Seventy-First didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 4-4 draw against Whiteville on the 19th. As for Purnell Swett, they have also already played their next matchup, a 0-0 loss against Red Springs on the 20th.
