Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Joplin). They never let the Carthage Tigers get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Thursday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Joplin pushed their record up to 6-10 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Carthage, their loss dropped their record down to 14-8.

Joplin wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 8-6 defeat against Smithville on the 3rd. As for Carthage, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 6-0 loss against Aurora on the 3rd.
