Baseball Recap: Eatonville Takes a Loss

Eatonville lost against Fife on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cruisers came up short against the Trojans, falling 16-6. That's two games in a row now that the Cruisers have lost by exactly ten runs.

Ethan Evans was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. That home run marked the first that he launched this season. Another player making a difference was Colton Herbrand, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

This is the second loss in a row for Eatonville and nudges their season record down to 2-5. As for Fife, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eatonville will take on Lakes at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Fife, they will square off against Franklin Pierce at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
