St. Laurence is a perfect 7-0 against Providence-St. Mel since January of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Vikings will head out on the road to face off against the Knights at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (St. Laurence has six straight victories, Providence-St. Mel has 13 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

St. Laurence proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by 45) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 57-55 win over Rich Township. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Vikings have posted since February 11th.

Meanwhile, Providence-St. Mel came up short against Aurora Central Catholic on Friday and fell 52-42. While the Knights didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Chargers 14-7 in the first quarter.

Providence-St. Mel's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for St. Laurence, their win bumped their record up to 6-0.

Everything went St. Laurence's way against Providence-St. Mel in their previous meeting back in January, as St. Laurence made off with a 54-30 victory. In that game, the Vikings amassed a halftime lead of 38-12, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
