Volleyball Recap: Reeves Beckham Key Part of Team Effort in Bulldogs Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Chapin, Camden was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the South Pointe Stallions 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Stallions: they've now won three in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-16, 25-15.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Camden to victory, but perhaps none more so than Reeves Beckham, who had eight digs and six kills. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Neal, who had ten digs and three aces.

Camden was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

The win got Camden back to even at 1-1. As for South Pointe, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Camden is set to take on their familiar foe Lancaster at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, South Pointe will square off against rival A.C. Flora at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
