The pair have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses dating back to last season for The Franklin School of Innovation and three for Bethel Christian Academy.
Two weeks ago, The Franklin School of Innovation had to suffer through a rough 65-33 loss at the hands of Invest Collegiate Imagine. The Franklin School of Innovation has not had much luck with Invest Collegiate Imagine recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 84-46, which was the final score in Bethel Christian Academy's tilt against Veritas Christian Academy on Friday. While losing is never fun, Bethel Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 458th, while Veritas Christian Academy is ranked 226th).
The Franklin School of Innovation dropped their record down to 0-3 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 29.0 points per game. As for Bethel Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5.
The Franklin School of Innovation might still be hurting after the 62-41 defeat they got from Bethel Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in November of 2023. Can The Franklin School of Innovation avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
