Softball Recap: Parkwood Find Success

With a playoff win on the line, Parkwood rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the West Henderson Falcons 12-10. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Wolf Pack considering their one-run performance the game before.

Brinley Parker was a standout: she fired off two home runs and six RBI while going 3-for-5. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Grayce Marvel, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Parkwood kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Parkwood now has a winning record of 12-11. As for West Henderson, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-4 record this season.

Parkwood has already played their next matchup, an 11-0 loss against Crest on the 9th. West Henderson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
